Making your own cut flower arrangement are a beautiful and relatively inexpensive addition to any décor. To prolong the life of your flower there are few simple steps to follow. Recut stems at least 3cm from the bottom , preferably underwater. This will prevent air bubbles from forming which inhibit water being drawn up the stem. Make your own floral preserver solution using sugar (food for the flowers), bleach (a germicide) and vinegar (which allows the solution to be more easily absorbed).change water every couple of days and rewash vases to remove any accumulated scum.
